Pallotti, Vincent
(1795–1850)
   Order Founder.
   Pallotti was born into an Italian noble family. He is remembered as the founder in 1835 of the Pious Society of Missions, who are more generally known as the Pallottini Fathers. The society is composed of priests, lay-brothers and associates. It is a missionary order and is primarily dedicated to preserving and nurturing the faith of emigrants. Pallotti founded a similar order for women in 1843.
